Embrace my inner anti-hero? Don’t mind if I do… 😉
I’ll admit, as excited as I was to see the new VENOM movie, there was still a small part of me that had doubts, since pretty much every non-MCU superhero film (*except Wonder Woman) has seemed to miss the mark lately; HOWEVER, since Venom is still technically a Marvel character (that SONY has the rights to), and Tom Hardy is a force of sheer talent, and I geek the F*CK out over anything superhero related, I was 99.9% sure I would not leave the theater disappointed, and ultimately, I was CORRECT! 😀
This movie gave me SO MUCH LIFE that by the time it was over I felt like I had merged with a symbiote too– Tom Hardy is BRILLIANT, the score is fantastic, and the plot is solid, leaving tons of opportunity for continuation…
Overall, I’d say it does the anti-hero some well-deserved justice! 🐍💋🖤
